We have been visiting Colorado since the early 1970's, but only for a few weeks in the winter to ski its many wonderful ski areas. In June 2004 we finally decided to move here to explore and enjoy this beautiful state year round. What we found has surpassed all expectations. Colorado has it all - snow-capped mountains for skiing in the winter and hiking in the summer, lakes and rivers teeming with fish, National Parks such as Mesa Verde and Rocky Mountain, picturesque old mining towns full of history and wonderful shopping! No wonder Colorado was tied with California and Alaska as the top domestic destination among tour companies surveyed by the US Tour Operators Association.
